(04/12/2006) Update on Abbey

Melissa just called from the hospital and Abbey's tubes are in her ears and she passed her hearing test with flying colors. She's going to have to stay the night tonight because they are going to do an upper GI tomorrow morning. I guess that is where they have her drink some chalky white stuff and then check her acid reflux damage, etc. So they'll know even more after tomorrow morning. Abbey was napping just now, but she's doing really well.
Melissa said that the blockage looked the same as it did the last time they went in and checked her esophagus, this morning when they put the tube in to do some exploring, but since she's gaining weight they weren't as concerned about it.
