Well it has been awhile again. Oops! Well we have been busy getting our basement all organized. We spend a lot of time down there now. It is so cozy! Abbey went pee in the potty for the first time last week. She came in the shower with me and when we got out I asked her if she had to go potty. She sat down and went. Then was saying hi to her potty it was cute! Now when we ask her or have her sit on her potty she just sits there and reads magazines or books. She hasn't gone again. Oh well at least she knows that is what it is for. The other day she spilt some of her milk on the floor so she went into the drawer with the rags and wiped it up. It was so cute. She is also tries to get into her doll house car or the highchair for the baby which her finger can fit it. She gets really frustrated, but it is a little funny. I got the video camera out the other day because she was trying to get into this little car Steve won at the golf tournament. She was sooooo mad she couldn't ride in it. Today we went to a parade in Montgomery Steve was in it with the fire department. Abbey was afraid of almost everything. Across the street from where we were sitting there was a guy blowing this obnoxious horn and it scared her sooooo bad. She was buried in my arm pit pretty much. It helped when the parade started but then she was afraid of every other loud noise. It was weird I haven't seen her that way before. Maybe it was because there were so many people around. So we left after we saw Steve go by. She did love the horses though that was about it. It was really hot this last week but we went to the Scott County Fair on Thursday with Tonya, Dane and Cade. We had a good time but it was soooooo hot! After we went swimming in the Pavek's pool which was so nice I think we were swimming for a few hours. I have a few pictures from that day. Well that is pretty much all the excitement we have been having lately. I have a few pictures to add! :) |
