(07/07/2008) 4th Weekend

Well we had a fun and busy 4th of July weekend. We didn't end up going to EC on Thursday night we had Chris, Cherie, Hannah, Madelyn, Mitch, Jodie and Triston over for dinner and a fire. It was fun. Then after I had enough drinks I took Chris's Heineken canoe out on our pond behind our house. It was pretty fun. Steve took it out when I was done. Then on the 4th we went to the zoo with Grandma Margaret and Grandpa Dan that was fun too so Abbey was a lucky girl and got to go to the zoo twice in one week. After the zoo we went to Greg and Tonya's because they were having a pool party. Abbey was obsessed with the new kittens they had she held one almost the entire time. It was cute. The girls crashed for the night at 7:30 and I went to bed at 8:00. On Saturday we didn't do too much. We went to Bruce and Natalie's house for a couple drinks and dinner at 3:30 and then we came home put the girls to bed and went to Steve's uncle Ron's 50th birthday party. So by Sunday didn't do a much. We set the pool up for the girls around noon and we played out there for a little while. It was sooooo hot so we didn't stay out too long. Abbey found a baby toad and was playing with it in the pool. It was cute. I think Alice is getting more teeth she didn't sleep too well last night. I hope she sleeps better tonight and I hope those teeth come through fast!
Tomorrow the girls and I are heading to EC to visit Grandma, Grandpa and Ollie they are watching him this week. They are probably going to keep Abbey there until Friday too which will be nice!! |
