(10/09/2008) Abbey's Owie

Abbey got a bad owie yesterday. We were outside playing after lunch and she was riding her bike in the garage and I went to get Alice because she went to the side of the house and I heard a scream. She rode her bike out onto the driveway a little and was probably turning around and she fell and landed on her forehead. It was horrible she immediately had a huge bump on her head. I know I should have had her helmet on I totally blame myself even when she is just in the garage. We put ice on it and while we were doing that she wanted to go to Great Grandma Helen's, so after we put ice on it we headed over and she had a popsicle on the way there and she got ice cream when we got there. She is doing really well and did want to ride her bike today but ONLY with her helmet she said. :)
Saturday we head out to Madison to go to the football game for our anniversary. We are also going to see Grandpa and visit with everyone else too. Uncle Mitchell is coming with for the ride. :) The girls are staying home and hopefully they don't give Grandma too much trouble. They haven't been sleeping very well but maybe it will be better if I am not around. I hope so.
Grandpa Merlin is still in the ICU but doing a little better keep him in your thoughts and prayers. |
