(04/01/2008) Still snowing

Okay well it has been awhile we are all doing pretty well. Abbey and Alice still have a cough which isn't fun. Alice seems to be holding on to her cold longer than Abbey did. Poor girl. So last week we just hung around home and on Friday evening Grandma Jan and Grandpa Jeff came over and stayed the night. They were on there way back from Branson. Saturday was the fireman's dance so Abbey and Alice had a couple babysitters. First Callie came over and then later Grandma Margaret and Grandpa Dan came over to finish the night. The night went well except Alice caused a little trouble. I think it is her cold. Alice is 6 months old and has been doing a lot lately. She can sit up on her own and sometimes tries to get up like she is ready to crawl. She has been eating quite a bit. She still isn't too sure about peas and sweet potatoes. She has had some apples too but she definitely isn't use to those. Her faces are pretty funny! Abbey has been a little sassy this week. She had class Monday and had a lot of fun there. Her music class is canceled for tomorrow because New Prague had a snow day today so the week has been thrown off a little. Steve and Abbey are outside making a snowman right now. It is crazy that on April 1st we have enough snow to make a snowman. |
