(08/05/2008) 1st Dentist Appt Thursday

Okay it has been way too long! I don't know what we have been doing, but we have been busy. The girls are so much fun. Alice has been a little crabby lately I am pretty sure it is because of her teeth still coming in. She has been pretty funny lately though. She is ALWAYS awake in the morning before Abbey but when Abbey wakes up she gets sooooo excited it is so cute. She has been talking on cell phones too it is hilarious. She will put it up to her ear and talk away. She is also waving when you say bye or hello. She is sort of saying bye bye too. She will sometimes even wave if we are leaving a store even if we don't say anything it is cute. She took a step Sunday morning it was just a little one but she did it. She is copying Abbey all the time. Abbey blows bubbles in the bath so Alice tries to do it too and then when Alice does do it Abbey says good job Alice!
Abbey is going to the dentist for the first time on Thursday she is VERY worried about it. She dosen't want to lay down and she always wants to look at the picture of Simon online (but Simon is laying down and I don't think she likes that). I keep telling her all these great things about it and it just isn't working so well. I even told her I would get her a new pair of shoes and she doesn't want any! WEIRD for Abbey! She started saying ready set go when she does things but instead of saying set she says sec it is pretty cute. She also says "what is this before" instead of for. It is funny. She still wants to do almost everything by herself and everywhere she goes she needs to wear Mama's glasses. Now everytime she gets into the car she asks for chapstick and she makes you drive with 2 hands and if you aren't she will let you know!
Next week Auntie Erika, Simon and Gussy are coming for 2 weeks!! FUN we are heading to our cabin on August 15th and we will come home on Abbey's birthday the 26th. Camp Grandma starts on August 13th with the 3 older cousins, Abbey, Simon and Oliver so Erika, Beth, Mitch and I are going to hang out in New Prague for a few days while that is going on. It is going to be a fun couple of weeks.
I have pictures to add I will do that tonight and then I probably won't be updating until after Abbey's birthday! Not like I am too great at updating lately anyways! Heh! I will try to put an update after Abbey's appointment on Thursday wish us luck!!!! |
