(12/20/2008) Finally an update!!!

Well I can't believe it is December 20th and I haven't even done an update yet! I don't know why we are home but these girls just keep me busy. Pretty much all day I am either doing Abbey's hair, changing her clothes, painting her nails well you know pretty much anything! One Wednesday when Jodie came over for lunch Abbey wanted her hair done like Cindy Lou Who on the Grinch so we did the best we could I have a couple pictures it was pretty funny. We have been getting a lot of snow Abbey definitely loves it but this last week it was really cold so we couldn't go out in it, but last weekend we went sledding when Uncle Mitch came over. Alice LOVED it but Abbey wasn't a big fan. She screamed the whole way down the hill and didn't want to go again. Alice we would pull her up the hill and she would be laughing the whole time because she knew what was coming. We would just let her go and she would laugh all the way down the hill. It was cute! Abbey does love playing in the snow and making snow angels. We have made a few snowmen too. It was pretty cute one day Alice's nose was running and Abbey ran and got a kleenex and wiped her nose for her. It was cute. Abbey is really excited for Christmas we can't have any presents under the tree or else they will get opened.
Alice has been talking a lot she is a pro at saying Abbey one day I think the only thing she said was Abbey. She says baby, banana, yea, no, Dada, Mama, Barney, Bapa, book and quite a bit more it is fun. Alice is really into books right she will grab one and sit on your lap and listen for as long as you want to read. She loves to dance too she is always busting a move. She also likes to irritate Abbey but it definitely goes both ways.
Today we went to see Santa. He was at a coffee shop in town. It was nice we were the only people there for awhile. Alice didn't like him at all and Abbey wasn't so sure herself but after awhile she did end up sitting on his lap. It was funny though he would get up and go sit by Abbey and she would tell him to go sit in a different chair, usually across from her so she could see him at all times.
Tomorrow we are going to Grandma Margaret's for Christmas and then on Tuesday or Wednesday morning we are heading to EC. It will depend on the weather and what time Steve gets home from work. Merry Christmas! I have some pictures I will put up soon.
