(08/12/2011) Busy busy Summer

Oh my goodness where do I begin!!?? We have been SUPER busy this summer but all great fun! The cabin week over the 4th was pretty fun and relaxing like usual. The following weekend I had a garage sale to sell as many girl clothes as I could. I only had 4 garbage bags left at the end but I started with 12 tubs of clothes!!! So I was happy. Auntie Erika, Simon, and Gus came Tuesday July 19th for 2 weeks and 2000 pictures later between Erika and me I don't know where to start!! We had a great time and busy a 2 weeks. The kids started out at Camp Grandmapa for the first 2 days. Auntie Erika and I didn't move from our kitchen table for basically the whole first day away from our kids! It was pretty great! The next day we picked up our kids and came back to our house for the evening. The next day we headed to Madison for the weekend to visit family and friends. The weather was CRAZY HOT the whole time they were here so we went to splash parks and pools while we were in Madison to keep us nice and cool. After Madison we headed to EC for a couple days before heading to the cabin. I can't believe how fast the 2 weeks went we were very sad when they had to go!! I promise to get cracking on those 2000 pictures! :) I think we are going to be home for the rest of the summer to get a few things done around here!
On Monday Abbey is starting Jump Start Kindergarten! I can't believe it she is already starting school. Jump Start Kindergarten is 2 weeks long from 9 to 11:30 so she gets use to the school and she is very excited. Then she has a week off and then Tuesday after Labor Day she takes her first bus ride to school! The week after Abbey starts school Alice will start preschool and I know she is excited and ready! So two mornings a week I will have 2 1/2 hours to myself until the baby comes. I am a little excited for that! :) Then soon enough the little guy will be here 8 weeks left to go! I will eventually get caught up on pictures so keep checking back!! |
